_Principal IoT Specialist (IT/OT) Zielona Góra
_What will you do?
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers to evangelize, identify needs/improvement areas, and audit the current state.
- Present portfolio, solutions, and business benefits, while consulting on building digitalization roadmaps.
- Establish long-term key customers relationships, founded on trust and expertise.
- Prepare offers, including feasibility studies, technical solutions, architecture planning (with technical team support), and time/effort estimations.
- Provide support to the project delivery team, assisting in development, handover, and project finalization.
- Collaborate with customers to extend, scale, and roll-out applications.
- Conduct internal and external trainings.
- Stay updated on market trends, and contribute to publications in areas such as Industry 4.0 (IoT, IIoT, AR, AI/ML…), Manufacturing, IT/OT convergence, and Industrial Automation.
_Who are we looking for?
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Robotics, Electronics, or IT.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in diverse roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in English for technical, business, and IT discussions.
- Passion for innovations and a cross-technical silos thinking approach.
- Awareness of Industry 4.0 trends, protocols, and applications (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, REST API, MES, WMS, ERP, CMMS, PAC, Edge computing, Cloud computing, Data lakes, AI/ML, Augmented Reality…).
- Some basic programming skills (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL…).
- Practical knowledge of industrial automation software/hardware (PLC, PAC, Edge devices, SCADA, DCS, Historian configuration…).
- Availability for international business trips.
- Full-time availability.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry energy and utilities consumption (EMS, hardware, ISO 50001, ESG, sustainability, regulations and reporting…).
- Some knowledge of OPC UA servers and Edge platforms for Industrial connectivity e.g. KEPServerEX (ThingWorx Kepware Server)
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, WMS, CMMS, PLM class software.
- Understanding of cybersecurity (IT/OT) concepts.
- Knowledge of network protocols and hardware (Industrial and IT).
- Business innovation motivations understanding, including KPIs like ROI, OEE, MTBF…
